Background

The client is a European jewelry chain. Due to the small size and high value of jewelry, manual inventory is time-consuming and prone to errors. The client decided to introduce UHF RFID technology.

Solution

Exquisite items such as rings, necklaces and bracelets are attached to exquisite UHF RFID tags. With the RFID function, employees can quickly inventory the tagged items by simply placing the V8 handheld RFID reader on the jewelry display.

Effect

1. Reduced time and labor costs required for inventory counting.

2. Each RFID tag is encoded with a unique ID number. In inventory tracking, V8 sends these IDs to the inventory management system. If any tag is not recorded, the software will alert the staff.

3. When you need to find the location of a certain jewelry, the handheld computer can complete quick query and positioning.
