Ticket inspection for tourist attractions

Background

The client is a tourist attraction in Southeast Asia. Previously, paper tickets and manual visual inspection were used. Traditional paper tickets are easily forged, and it is difficult for inspectors to distinguish between true and false with the naked eye. Fake tickets have caused great losses to scenic area managers. The surge in tourists during holidays and manual ticket inspections have led to traffic congestion at the entrance of the scenic area.

Solution

We developed an intelligent ticket inspection system for our customers. Each ticket is printed with a unique QR code. The staff uses our V2 handheld device to scan the QR code on the ticket, which is more secure and reduces fake tickets. Automatic identification replaces visual identification.

Effect

1. Unique QR barcode tickets are not easy to be modified, copied, and forged. Fake tickets are eliminated. Ticket revenue losses are avoided.

2. Automatic ticket inspection has greatly improved ticket inspection efficiency, shortened the time for tourists to pass through the entrance, and improved tourist satisfaction.

3. It has reduced the workload of staff and greatly improved the loyalty and dedication of staff.
