Background
The client is a European stadium that often hosts football matches. In the past, the spectators' paper tickets were visually inspected by stadium staff at the entrance. This process often resulted in long queues for visitors to enter the stadium. Many security issues also occurred. Some people would forge tickets, resulting in loss of ticket revenue.
Solution
We developed a ticket management system for the client, with a unique QR barcode printed on each match ticket, and deployed our V1 handheld computers for staff. The V1 handheld terminal can access the database in real time every time it is scanned, and there will be voice and animation prompts whether the ticket is valid.
Effect
1. It allows visitors to enter the stadium and take their seats faster, avoiding congestion and trampling.
2. Avoiding forged tickets and reducing losses at the stadium.
2. Real-time ticket data is captured and wirelessly transmitted to the back-end management system. Management can see the number of people entering the stadium and the speed of entry in real time.
