Washing management of linens

Background

The client is a professional linen laundry shop in Europe. Hotels, hospitals, bathing places and linen rental companies have a large number of different types of linens. The traditional sorting method not only consumes a lot of manpower and time, but also brings a series of potential losses and risks. Due to the diversity of business, many items are lost during the laundry process every year, causing considerable losses to the company. For special customers such as hospitals, cross infection should be avoided. The inability to accurately count the number of linens that need to be washed leads to commercial disputes with customers during handover.

In addition, the washing process, number of washes, inventory status, classification, etc. of each piece of linen are difficult to track effectively, which is not only prone to missed washing, but also unable to ensure the minimum safety inventory of each piece of linen in time, affecting the normal operation and management of the enterprise.

Solution

We provide customers with ultra-high frequency RFID readers to realize intelligent washing management of linens. First, sew RFID tags on each piece of linen. Laundry staff using our V7UHF RFID reader can scan the UHF tags on the linens to obtain the process data of linen receipt, transfer, classification, shelving, inventory, etc., and automatically collect detailed data of each process, and upload it to the back-end system in real time via wifi. Help laundry managers to grasp the status of each link of linen circulation in real time, including the number of washes, washing costs, number of linen rentals, and expenses of each customer.

Effect

1. Automatic identification of linens is realized, and batch data collection is supported, replacing manual identification, which greatly improves the efficiency and accuracy of sorting.

2. The number of times linens are washed can be accurately counted and the data can be uploaded to the system.

3. Linen data is collected in real time, and inventory data is uploaded to the back-end system at the same time, so that inventory dynamic data can be viewed at a glance.

4. The information of each piece of linen and the corresponding person in charge can be effectively tracked. When linens are misplaced or lost, managers can trace back to the last missing time and location through RFID so that they can be discovered and properly handled in time. Effectively reduce the risk of loss and theft and avoid unnecessary economic losses.
