LPG cylinder management

Background

The client is a liquefied gas producer in Africa. In order to further standardize the management of liquefied gas cylinders, improve management efficiency and cylinder quality, the client decided to introduce RFID technology.

Solution

Using V8 UHF RFID handheld computers for cylinder management, each cylinder is equipped with a globally unique identifiable electronic tag as its ID. Staff can use the V8 UHF handheld terminal to read the cylinder tag to obtain information or enter information such as inspection records, thereby realizing real-time data collection and recording during the process of receiving, verifying, refilling and delivering.

Effect

1. It automatically updates the cylinder details (such as shipment, cylinder return) to the system, eliminating any possible errors.

2. Regular maintenance of cylinders improves efficiency and avoids unplanned maintenance, thereby increasing revenue by reducing turnaround time.

3. Tracking efficiency is greatly improved, resulting in a greatly improved utilization rate of cylinders.
